It's no secret that I love photographing the beautiful light at evening golden hour. It makes my already incredible families glow and adds an element to the photos that just can't be reproduced in Photoshop. But did you know you can also get this amazing light in the morning? Yup, that's right! Anyone willing to come out at sunrise for their session will get to experience this awesomeness too (particularly more palatable when the weather is a bit warmer than the 18 balmy degrees we're expecting today!).

Playing a little catch-up from fall sessions. When I think back to all of the beautiful families I saw, this one in particular really stands out. The location, light and energy of this family were magical.

When this mama contacted me about newborn photos for precious son, I was elated. I had the privilege of working with her at my previous job before jumping into AJP full time- somehow though, when someone invites you into their home, the relationship becomes that much more special and personal. I seriously love the "new" relationships I get to form with previous coworkers on a much more intimate level when I get to photograph their family. I get to know them in a more friendly way, and you quickly learn that when you leave your 9-5 (ha) job, we all really are the same in some sort of way. I don't know, it's just something I've come to learn and cherish over the past few years...
Her baby boy was such a sweet angel the entire time. And her little girl- gorgeous, fun and full of life. This session was one for the books:) Here are a few favorites from my time with them:

We are excited to announce that we will be offering mini-sessions again! This year we will be doing 3 dates- September 19th, October 24th and November 7th.
Sessions will be 30 minutes long and include AT LEAST 15 images, but usually many more. You will receive all final selected edited images from your session in a downloadable gallery within 2 weeks of your session. The session fee is $250 of which a $125 deposit will be due via paypal at booking to secure your spot. Your spot will only be held with the deposit and is non-refundable, but may be transferred.
Please see below for available times. When booking your session, please let us know your top 3 time slots, and we will do our best to accommodate you! You will receive a paypal invoice for the deposit after choosing your date and time.

Saturday, October 24th

Sessions will take place in or around the Fort Mill area. Each date will be at a different location. Please inquire for more information in regards to location.
